Cyclist Alan and Cyclist Pa !
Sir Alan Sugar , seriel entrepeneur and star of the hit TV series ‘The Apprentice ‘ on BBC is a huge cycling fanatic . He rides his bike as often as possible and always tries to get out each Sunday morning for a 50 mile spin . His recent birthday saw him turn 62 and he is enjoying riding his bike more than ever .
Pa Moore is a local entrepeneur who has his own second hand car dealership . He too rides his bike as often as possible and is out with our group every Sunday no matter what distance is involved . He will be 62 next birthday .
Last Sunday Sir Alan did 49.1 miles in 2 hours 55 minutes and burned 2650 calories .
Yesterday Pa did 62.6 miles in 3 hours 37 minutes and burned 4032 calories .
Sir Alan rides 3 top of the range Italian Pinarello’s ;
Pa rides a 15 year old Italian Colnago that has been around the clock once or twice ;
I have never ridden alongside Sir Alan Sugar but most Sunday mornings I am beside Pa as we make our way back up to Clonmel at the end of a hard training spin and I know that if I am as strong as Pa is on a bike at 62 years of age I will be a very happy man indeed , whether I am a millionaire or not !

They are indeed Pat . We might have to send him over a WWC jersey to match . It would look much better than the Garmin one anyway
