The Sean Kelly Classic

The first ever Sean Kelly Classic Leisure Tour of Tipperary takes place on June 12th of this year, starting and finishing in Sean’s home town of Carrick on Suir . It also coincides with the launch of National bike week 2016.

With a choice of two routes, 50k and 115k, through some of the most picturesque countryside that the Premier county has to offer, the event promises to be a superb experience for all who take part in the company of the former World Number One cyclist.

The gentle rolling roads, without any major climbs, make the routes very manageable for cyclists of all abilities, from absolute beginners to the more experienced who want to cycle on the same roads that Sean trained on throughout his very successful career. There is a minimum age limit of sixteen for all participants on both distances.
