Meeting points and times:

In the centre of Menlough east Galway the world headquarters of black rose racing is the meeting point for all events . On a Wednesday for 20 weeks during the summer/autumn we race the track league and meet at the headquarters and travel to Dublin. We bring riders from other clubs also. On a Sunday morning we train in the off season at 9 am. If the weather is too bad we can train indoors in our gym with watt bikes and turbo trainers.

Club Promoted Events:

The club runs a time trial league during the summer on a Thursday evening at 7 pm from Menlough. In the past it has ran the black rose Grand Prix . A 120 km difficult race where the perpetual trophy is a glass Flying V guitar ! Also each year it runs a sportif for the local cancer charity.

Club Sponsors:

The clubs main sponsor is Black Rose . A recording studio and sound production company owned by Aidan Reade double national champion on the track.  Other sponsors include Casco the German helmet manufacturer and blackthorn design a local jewellery design company set up by Melisande Michaud the club secretary and track cyclist who designed the team kit.
