Worlds Week

This week is probably the most important week of the year in the cycling calender . The World cycling championships take place in Mendrisio , Switzerland . Beginning tomorrow with the Mens under 23 Time trial and culminating on Sunday with the Elite road race it will be an exciting week for all cycling fans .

Eurosport will be showing a huge amount of the action live . Here are the times for your diary ;

Wednesday : 8.15 am – 11.45 am , 12.40 – 16.15 ,  12.00 am – 1.00 am

Thursday : 8.40 am – 10.00 am , 11.00 – 16.00 , 17.30 – 18.30 , 23.30 – 12.30 am

Friday : 9.45 – 13.00 ,

Saturday : 7.45 – 11.50 , 12.00 am – 1.00 am

Sunday : Tour of Britain  8.00 – 9.00 , Worlds 9.00 – 16.30 , 23.00 – 12.15 am

If you cannot make it to Switzerland , but would like to see a rainbow jersey in the flesh Jonathan Flynn has been kind enough to let us display his signed jersey in the shop . It contains autographs of 3 recent World Champions , Mario Cippolini , Paulo Bettini and Tom Boonen .
